Career Connect
Career Connect brings high school juniors and seniors together with professionals, businesses, organizations, and community partners for a meaningful career exploration experience. The event gives students the opportunity to learn directly from people working in a wide range of fields and industries.
Students ask questions. They listen. They explore possibilities.
Through conversations with professionals and business representatives, students can learn about career pathways, job responsibilities, workplace expectations, required education or training, certifications, college programs, apprenticeships, and real-world experiences. These conversations help students better understand what different careers actually look like beyond a job title or classroom description.
Career Connect is designed to help students make informed decisions about their futures. For some students, the event may confirm a career interest they already have. For others, it may introduce a new pathway they had never considered before. Either way, students leave with a stronger understanding of the opportunities available to them and the steps they may need to take after high school.
The event also creates valuable connections between schools, students, employers, and the broader community. Local businesses and professionals have the opportunity to share their knowledge, highlight workforce needs, and encourage the next generation of employees, leaders, and problem-solvers.
Career Connect is more than a career fair. It is a bridge between education and the world of work, helping students connect classroom learning to future careers, personal goals, and real opportunities.
