Library Services / Media On-line Resources – CoSer 508
Library Services / Media Online Resources supports school districts by helping students and educators access high-quality digital learning materials, research tools, media collections, and library-related resources. These services help expand what school libraries can offer beyond the walls of a single building.
Access matters. So does guidance.
Through online resources, students can explore databases, e-books, digital media, reference materials, research platforms, instructional content, and other tools that support classroom learning and independent inquiry. These resources help students develop stronger research habits, build information literacy skills, and learn how to locate, evaluate, and use information responsibly.
Library Services also supports educators and library media specialists. By providing access to curated materials, digital tools, resource coordination, and professional support, this service helps schools strengthen instruction and make learning resources more available to students and staff. It also helps districts provide consistent access to materials that may otherwise be difficult to maintain individually.
The goal is simple: connect learners with the right resources at the right time.
Media and online resources can support reading, research, curriculum development, project-based learning, classroom instruction, and student engagement across grade levels and subject areas. Whether a student is researching a topic, reading for personal interest, exploring multimedia content, or completing an assignment, these resources help support deeper learning.
At its core, Library Services / Media Online Resources helps school libraries remain active, modern, and connected. It strengthens access to information, supports digital literacy, and helps students and educators make meaningful use of the resources available to them.
